The Club Game, is actually a somewhat innocent thing but the effects could be detrimental to customers, shareholders, government policy and people in general.
Say you have an organization or club, 13 chapters of 99 members. It is one of the most exclusive clubs. Each one can have no more than 99 members. So it is not until someone dies that there are openings.
People are nominated members. If there is one vote against you then you cannot get in. Nothing bad with that except, if you want into the club you must never get any current member upset. So say the members of this club are CEO’s, congressmen, even presidents? What if the members wanting to gain admission are CEO’s, congressmen, even presidents? That means generally if a member asks you to do something, a favor, you must do it if want a chance of getting in the club.
In one sense it creates a situation where you must be nice to everyone, not just a few. These are good, but add Ego and human weakness to the equation and what happens? Could this effect domestic and foreign policy? Would it allow club members? What if there are a few clubs like this? What if there is a global club?
Can any one figure out how that might affect some decision making? Can anyone see the power club members have over those wanting to get in?
Better that you join a club with 144,000 membership openings, where no one can stop you, no vote is needed, you just must figure out how to get in, and we will leave that to divine providence. Perhaps the other clubs will no longer have an advantage and the few will not benefit to the detriment of the many.
The club of 144,000 you cannot join it just happens.
